I have terribly wavy hair and curly bits at the tips. I use sunsilk shampoo, conditioner and moisteriser for my hair. I blow dry it at night and straighten it then in the morning the same. The this is after 25min my hair starts to go curly. What should i do? I dont want to pay out money for products.

ohh goodness.
i have a natural afro.
straightening your hair with a flat iron wont kill it.
you just need to know how to do it.
my hair isnt just curly.
but no one ever beleives me when i say i have curly hair.
im studying to go to Scott Lewis school of cosmetology.
and i need to have super healthy beautiful hair when i go there.
if you study up on how to treat your hair then it will turn out fine.
i constantly dye my hair because my natural color is disgusting beach gray blonde.
and ive bleached my hair before.
but after i bleach my hair i go through a three day process in which i deeply condition and treat my hair.
and then its ready to straighten
it takes a lot of work
but i have no split ends that i know of.
and i check =D alot.
i use a lot of homemade remedies.
but some of my favorite products are
fx specialeffects Flat Iron
schwarskopf got2b crazysleek
aveda light elements
l'oreal paris studioline shine seeker gl****shine
redken outshine polishing milk
and whatnot.
okay im done =D

my hair is thick, and is wavy. When i have someone else straighten my hair it always looks awesome. And a couple of days ago i got a new hair cut. The stylist flat ironed my hair, it looked amazing. Then yesterday i went to straighten it and it looked nothing like it did when i got it cut. I dont know how to get my hair straight like she had it and as soft. When i do it, it gets frizzy and clingy and flips out. And doesnt last long. Can someone please give me some advice on how to get my hair straight like that. Please. I need advice very quick!!!!!!!

I have really curly hair(about 1" wide ringlets) and when I straighten it, it never lasts for more than 2 hours. your article said that girls who swim in chlorine often can't straighten their hair. I swim at least 6 times a week. do you have any tips for me that can help me straighten my hair?? Thanks!

i haave wavy layered hair, its long..
it used to be kinda damanged.. until i cut off all my dead ends and stopped dying it, i highlight it now.
what i do usually is straighten it , with straightning spray or cream, either chi, l'oreal or something like that,
or when i blow dry it, i use herbal essence's split end treatment, blowdry, straighten and use herbel essences finshing straightning spray.
i use dove go clean shampoo, it cleans my hair and the conditioner leaves it soft.

I straighten my hair every mornin with a high powered straightener. I have only been using it for about half a month now , and I am scared it will damamge my hair, also , sometimes when I come out of the shower , and blowdry my hair it has this oily substance on it and then when I straighten it it looks greasy.

what i do is.
wash my hair with publix shampoo and condtioner, its the best ! it makes your hair super nice
then i towel dry it a little bit and put in some l'oreal straightening cream along with paul mitchell super skinny serum and chi strengthing spray then i let it air dry. then straighten it with the best straightener ive ever had its the nano tech by jilbere de paris. you can find it at sallys i think for 80$ its amazing it gets 450 degrees!
hotter than the chi, and ive had three of them.
then my hair is super duper straight for the rest of the day !
(;
<33 hope this helps!

Frizzy, curly short and layered oddly being I am growing my hair out but when I straighten it then it looks great. I see alot of people talking about damage I have not had that issue in 6 yrs since I first straightened my hair. I did a salon straightener once and that totally messed up my hair it made it appear to be more damaged than ever. I suggest making sure you are using a high quality ceramic flat iron (you know not the cheap one at the drugstore?) and you use a hair dryer with high heat and alot of strength to quickly dry your hair. I use only Bed Head products and love them I couldn't go back to anything else if I wanted. I have managed to get polished looks and healthy hair for 6 yrs now and only need a trim every couple of months and it really isn't that damaged. I do think my hair was worse when I left it curly all the time lol. :) hope someone finds help here

Okay, i have curly frizzy dry hair. i use herbal essences hydration its blue shampoo and conditioner. to make sure my hair does not get frizzier i put some lotion in it. then to make sure my hair stays kinda healthly i shampoo is 3 times aweek. ladies, think if this if you straightening you hair and leaving it straight for like 3 days it not only gets oily it gets really dry....and dryeer, and dryier. but if you conditon it all the time then it stays silky and stright. and another trick i use is before you go to bed put your hair back in a ponytale. because when you sleep you swet and it makes your hair curly. but if its in a pontale it away from the swettly areas of your body (your neck, behind your ears, ect.)

I have long brown perfectly curly hair and it only takes me an hour to straighten it with a regualr straightner. Here is what i do:
at night shower, put de-frizz in.
wake up, go about your day, when you get home at night instead of taking another shower, straighten it with finishing spray and iron lotion. then wake up the next day with straight hair. It's not like your not showering or anything, you are but only every second day (that's what hair stylist say to do anyways so your hair won't be brittle.)
